We stand behind every piece of equipment we sell because we know how important reliable gear is when you’re miles from civilization. Whether you’re scaling mountains or just trying to set up camp before dark, you deserve equipment that works as hard as you do.

Our 12-Month Manufacturing Defect Warranty

We’ve Got Your Back For:

  • Manufacturing defects – When the factory didn’t quite nail it the first time
  • Material failures – If the fabric tears without good reason or zippers give up the ghost
  • Structural issues – When poles snap under normal use (not when you use them as a baseball bat!)
  • Faulty workmanship – Loose stitching, wonky seams, and other “oops” moments from production

Coverage Period: 12 months from your purchase date – plenty of time to test your gear through all four seasons!

Look, we’d love to warranty everything forever, but some things are just part of the great outdoors experience:

Normal Wear and Tear

  • Fabric fading from UV exposure (the sun’s pretty intense up there!)
  • Minor scuffs and scratches from actual adventures
  • Zippers getting a bit stiff after lots of use
  • General “well-loved” appearance from epic trips
  • Clothes or equipment torn due to that off track Bauera scrub bash last trip

Misuse and Accidents

  • Damage from campfires (marshmallows taste better when your tent isn’t melting nearby)
  • Possum encounters (seriously, store your food properly!)
  • Using equipment beyond its intended purpose (tent poles aren’t lightsabers)
  • Weather damage from extreme conditions that exceed product specifications

Normal Maintenance Items

  • Battery replacement for electronic items
  • Regular cleaning and waterproofing
  • Sharpening of knives and tools

Step 2: Tell Us Your Story

We’ll need:

  • Your order number (check that email receipt!)
  • Photos of the issue (we’re visual learners)
  • A brief description of what went wrong
  • When and where you purchased the item

Step 3: Let Us Work Our Magic

Our team will review your claim faster than you can say “where did I put the tent stakes?” Most claims are processed within 10 business days.

Depending on the issue, we’ll offer:

Repair

We’ll fix it up and send it back adventure-ready

Replace

Brand new gear, ready for your next expedition

Refund

Sometimes it’s just not meant to be – we get it

The choice is usually yours, but we reserve the right to determine the most appropriate solution based on the specific situation.

Australian Consumer Law Rights

Nothing in this warranty affects your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If your gear has a major problem that would have stopped a reasonable person from buying it, you’re entitled to a replacement or refund. We’re just adding our own extra layer of protection on top!

Proof of Purchase

Keep that receipt! We know it’s not the most exciting souvenir from your gear shopping trip, but it’s your golden ticket if something goes wrong.

Original Purchaser Only

This warranty applies to the original purchaser only – sorry, but we can’t warranty that second-hand sleeping bag you found at the markets (though we admire your bargain-hunting skills!).

What We Can’t Control (Mother Nature is Boss)

We’re pretty good at predicting gear performance, but we can’t control:

  • Extreme weather events beyond normal camping conditions
  • Wildlife interactions
  • Acts of nature, government actions, or other force majeure events
  • Your tent-pitching skills (practice makes perfect!)

Getting Your Gear Fixed or Replaced

Returning Items

We’ll provide return instructions and a prepaid shipping label for warranty claims. Just pack it up securely – no need to include that collection of pine cones from your last trip!

Processing Time

Most warranty claims are resolved within 5 business days from when we receive your item. We’ll keep you updated throughout the process.

Replacement Items

If we need to send a replacement and your exact item isn’t available, we’ll offer something of equal or greater value. Sometimes upgrades happen – consider it a happy accident!

Quality Promise

We source our gear from trusted manufacturers who share our commitment to quality. But if something slips through the cracks, we’re here to make it right. After all, the only thing that should fail on your camping trip is your attempt at campfire cooking (we’ve all been there!).

Q: What if I lost my receipt? A: No worries! If you purchased online, we can look up your order. For other purchases, we’ll work with you to verify your purchase date.

Q: Can I warranty items I bought on sale? A: Absolutely! A good deal doesn’t mean compromised warranty coverage.

Q: What about items damaged during shipping? A: That’s not a warranty issue – that’s our problem to fix immediately! Contact us right away if your gear arrives damaged.

Q: Do you warranty items bought from other retailers? A: This warranty only covers items purchased directly from us. But check with your retailer – they might have their own warranty program!


Remember: The best warranty is gear that doesn’t need it, but we’re here just in case your adventures get a little too adventurous!
